Today, I got to have the best day a mom with lots to do can have. A childless one, well not completely, I still had Little E and Jen. Hubby took off with the middle three down to his parents to pick up some things and to my dad's to get the buffet we got off Freecycle. Now these sort of opportunities do not happen very often, hubby and the kiddos left about 9:45. Little E took a nap and Jen was babysitting. Jen got home around 12:30ish and E was STILL ASLEEP! You got it, mom got SILENCE!!!! Now, usually when I am working on things around the house I enjoy having some tunage playing. Not today, I kept the music off, FINALLY finished painting the aquarium stand (It only took abot a month) and the cabinet for the kids TV, the only sounds was the little birds that come visit our porch every spring. Poor things try so hard to build a nest, very persistant, but it never works. This momma got quite a few big things checked off the list of ever growing things to do. Crush the Turtle is now in his new home, the crib is up, the pack n play is down, the buffet is here and a lot more mess to take care of. Oh well, all in good time. Hubby came home, with all three kids he left with so they must have been pretty good. They had a great time at big grandpas helping him get his garden ready. Well, hear Little E stirring, gotta go!
